Aishwarya says no to item number

Sajid Nadiadwala and Sajid Khan’s efforts to rope in Aishwarya Rai Bachchan to do an item number in Houseful have failed. They have had to settle for Jacqueline Fernandez, who debuted with the debacle, Aladin. Sajid even approached Kareena Kapoor and Sushmita Sen earlier to perform on the remake of the yesteryear hit, Aap Ka Kya Hoga Janab-e-Ali, from Laawaris.
“Ash refused to do the song as it featured her father-in law and she was of the opinion that it should not be tampered with. Kareena Kapoor claims she doesn’t want to do any more item songs. Sushmita Sen and the producers could not come to a financial agreement. So, they had no option but to pick Jacqueline, who was more than willing to take up the offer. Riteish Deshmukh, who is also a part of Houseful, recommended her.”
The song will be shot with all the three guys Akshay, Arjun Rampal and Riteish Deshmukh on the remixed version of the super hit in March.
