Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission to the various academic programmes for the year 2009-10 as listed below. Admissions are based on

• Common Admission Test (CAT 2009)

• Departmental Admission Test (DAT 2009)

• Test for Lateral Entry (LET 2009).

Candidates who have appeared/are appearing in full for their final qualifying examinations are also eligible to apply. All UGC specified degrees, diplomas etc. awarded by UGC approved Statutory Universities are recognized by this University for admission to various courses

However, Distance Education Courses will be considered as recognized, only if they are further approved by the Distance Education Council, New Delhi also.

Those who are applying for First Degree Programmes in Engineering & Technology (B.Tech and Integrated M.Sc. in Photonics): The CAT will be conducted on all India basis with test centres in New Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkatta, Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Lucknow, Ranchi, Varanasi, Allahabad, Jamshedpur, Kota and all district head quarters of Kerala.

Those who are applying for PG Programmes / LL.B / both Programmes: the CAT will be conducted only in the Centres at all the district head quarters of Kerala. LET will be conducted at Kochi Centre only.
