What are you going to be for halloween ?????

As we get closer to Halloween you may wanna bring out your inner child & go trick or treating or to a Costume party......but any who every week until a few weeks before halloween im going to be showing you ladies hot costume ideas.Today we will be creating a Harajuku Style Costume. What Is Harajuku?

Harajuku is a district in Tokyo, Japan,
where teens gather in full costume in
styles ranging from “Gothic Lolita” to
“Decora.” Gwen Stefani popularized
the term Harajuku in the U.S. when
she introduced dancers dressed in
Harajuku-inspired costumes in her
L.A.M.B. videos and on her concert tour.

here are some steps in creating the Harajuku look

Accessorize
Brightly colored accessories will make your look
pop and are essential to the Harajuku style.

Layer It On
A key element in the Harajuku style is
layering your clothes. Wear a tee under a
dress and pile on a vest and/or jacket over
the top.

Mix-n-Match
Patterns and colors shouldn’t be
ultra-matchy. Get eclectic—experiment
with mismatched patterns, colors,
and textures!

Get A Leg Up
Wear a pair of tights or thigh high
stockings with a pair of colorful socks
or legwarmers—stripes or other
patterns look great!

Exaggerate Everything
(Make-up, Hair, Shoes,
and Clothing)

additional tips.........

the harajuku girl's typically like to wear school girl uniforms and punk them out

they also wear lots of flat hair clips in there hair with some kinda graphic on them

they also wear lots of animated characters anything made for a kids & colorful socks.
