MGB Gramin Bank came into existence in the year 2006 by uniting three Regional banks that are supported by the State Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur. The three Regional banks that were brought together for the formation of MGB Gramin Bank are the Sriganganagar Kshetriya Gramin Bank, the Bikaner Kshetriya Gramin Bank and the Marwar Gramin Bank.

The Bank operates in six districts - Pali, Jalore, Sirohi, Bikaner, Sriganganagar, and Hanumangarh. The mission of the Bank is to help for the overall economic development of rural areas.

North Bengal Medical College came into existence in the year 1968 and the college is affiliated to the West Bengal University of Health Sciences. Medical Council of India has approved this college to offer MBBS course with an intake capacity of 100 students per year. The college is also offering PG courses like MS in orthopedics and surgery and MD in anatomy, general medicine, pathology, pediatrics, physiology, obstetrics & gynecology, community medicine and anesthesia.

Admission of students to the MBBS course offered by the college is done based on the marks secured by the students in the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination for 85% of seats and for remaining 15% of seats, marks secured by students in All India Level CBSE Pre-medical Test score is taken into consideration.
